The news never stops, and neither does my pursuit for fresh ways to report it

as multimedia producer at the Austin American-Statesman. I’m always learning in a fast-paced environment, developing new tactics for delivering fact-based journalism

and interesting stories to the Statesman’s digital audience. I love to push the boundaries of traditional reporting and produce informative, relative stories for the Austin community.
 

I believe in the importance of local journalism and consider it a privilege to spotlight

the important stories coming out of Central Texas. Character-driven video narratives, podcasts and manning cameras on live productions are a few of my areas of expertise.

My projects capture the attention of the thousands of people engaging with

the Statesman’s YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels.

 

My quirky interests and pop culture expertise give me ownership of a unique beat,

covering the entertaining, more features side of Austin. I’m in my element

when I’m shining a light on the creative side of Central Texas.

I interview award-winning directors and celebrity cats, and highlight the stories of

LEGO Masters and horror film fanatics.

You'll quickly learn that I’m a people-person who loves fun facts and sharing stories. When I’m not producing pieces with the Fourth Estate, I can be found at my favorite coffee spot, geeking out about Star Wars and the creative projects I’ll tackle next.
